How to find the current version of CentOS/Redhat Release your AOE server is on

 

To find the CentOS/Redhat release version your AOE server is running, follow the below steps:

1. SSH into your AOE server using the IP address and a user account, or the AOE Admin account. 

2. Run the cat /etc/*release command:

[ems@~]$ cat /etc/*release
CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core)
NAME="CentOS Linux"
VERSION="7 (Core)"
ID="centos"
ID_LIKE="rhel fedora"
VERSION_ID="7"
PRETTY_NAME="CentOS Linux 7 (Core)"
