Is There a Functional Difference Between Single T1 Network Module and Quad T1 Module?

We are contemplating building a network of Atlas 550 units with leased T1s between them.  Channels carried will be E&M.

One especially will be in a hub like configuration with T1s running out to different remote sites.

Do T1s installed in the single network slots have any priority or difference from T1s in a quad module in an expansion slot?

Re: Is There a Functional Difference Between Single T1 Network Module and Quad T1 Module?

The T1 modules are functionally the same. Their role all depends on how you configure it in the ATLAS. For DEDICATED MAPPING an E&M Module to a T1, there is no difference between the Network Module(s) and either DUAL T1/PRI or Quad T1/PRI modules (other than the number of ports per module).

Thank you,

Patrick
