T1 port automatically goes into Test

We have a 550 and one of the T1/PRI ports will spontaneously go into test mode, payload loop back.  I know the CO can request this, but they say they are not doing anything.  Is there a way to disable a remote request to enter test mode?

Re: T1 port automatically goes into Test

Yes, there is a way to disable the T1 port from accepting loop-up requests:

Under MODULES go to the T1/PRI module in question.

Go to the MENU for this module and hit <ENTER>.

Under MENU go to CONFIGURATION.

Under CONFIGURATION change the LB ACCEPT setting from ACCEPT to IGNORE.

Then back out to the main menu.

That specific T1/PRI port will no longer accept a remote loop-up and will have to be put into loopback locally if desired.

Hope this helps,

Patrick
