Re: Atlas 830 what does dso status "N" Dedicated (nailed) mean

The "N" under the "DS0 Status" indicates that the channel or channels of the T1 are mapped under the DEDICATED MAPS. When configured in the DEDICATED MAP the ATLAS does not monitor the channel status (onhook, offhook, etc.) and simply shows the channel with the "N".

Hope this helps,

Patrick

That is all good information, I was assuming that was the issue. Question how can we clear them (N)

To "clear" the N status, you can delete the entries for the T1 in question that are in the DEDICATED MAPS. If you have no need for any dedicated map entries you can select the DEDICATED MAPS by moving your cursor to that menu option and hit the letter "f" to factory restore the DEDICATED MAPS, which will erase all map entries. It will only factory restore the section that is selected and not the entire ATLAS.
