Should I wall mount the BSAP-1800?

Q: Should I wall mount the BSAP-1800?

A: The BSAP-1800 has an internal directional antenna array that propagates the signal down and outward in a circular pattern similar to that of an omni-directional antenna however unlike an omni-directional antenna, there is very little back lobe or signal propagated behind the antenna. In most cases the BSAP-1800 should be ceiling mounted. If wall mounted, the signal is propagated in the direction the antenna is facing in more of a directional manner such that of a wide angle directional antenna. If wall mounting is necessary and your intention is to not propogate the signal in the direction the antenna is facing in a directional manner such that of a wide angle directional antenna, consider deploying the BSAP-1840.
