Hi Sir,
Can BSC5200 support ipv6?
Thanks.
Alomar
Thanks, Alomar. We continue to monitor the development and deployment of the IPv6 standard. The Bluesocket product line has the future capability to implement IPv6 as we see the standard become adopted in end-user devices. Currently, we observe some deployments encapsulating IPv4 inside of IPv6 in the network core or service provider backbone. However, as an edge device, the Bluesocket products interact directly with end client devices which have not yet implemented IPv6. Thus, we will continue to monitor IPv6, particularly in its usage in WLAN end user devices in order to add support in the future when WLANs truly utilize IPv6.
Regards,
Erik
