Management and data on different networks

Hi, we're installing 4 AP in a new site of an existing network.

AP should be controlled by the existing appliance already in place.

The new site as different and proprietary authentication appliance the users must pass through.

How have I to configure AP in order to have management not to pass the authentication appliance (it cannot configure 'non user') but then force users which connects to AP to pass thorugh it for authentication and internet access?

What is this existing appliance you have in place, how does it work, is it some kind of captive portal or radius server?
