I am working with a Tribal Telecom Company and we are trying to troubleshoot some T-1 lines in order to turn up a Redcom SLICE voice switch. They seem to have either misplaced their administrator password to their OPTI 6100 or the original company that installed the device never provided it to them.
I am looking for a way to recover the administrator password on an Adtran OPTI 6100. Due to it being end of life, support is no longer offered for it and I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience with recovering the password or resetting it so we can administer it and view the configuration. I have heard there is a backdoor way of gaining access to the OPTI 6100 but I am not familiar with the product as it's not something I work with regularly. We do have physical access to the unit.
If anyone knows of a way to get into this device. I would appreciate the help.
