Updating vWLAN firmware from 2.2.1

I have a Bluesocket vWLAN hardware controller running firmware 2.2.1 and I just saw the newest release appears to be 3.6.0. What methods do I need to use to update the software to the newest version? Can I upgrade straight to the newest version?

Also, I'm using 4 1800 series APs in my location. What is the highest level of firmware that will run on these APs?

Thanks,

Re: Updating vWLAN firmware from 2.2.1

The BSAP 18XX series is end-of-life and not supported on version 3.2.0 and higher. If you are still using BSAP 18XX series devices, you must stay on version 3.1.0 or lower.

With that being said, vWLANs on versions 2.2.1 to 2.6.1 must first upgrade to version 2.6.2 and then upgrade to version 3.1.0. AP firmware does not have to be upgraded to 2.6.2 and can instead be upgraded directly to 3.1.0 with the second upgrade.

2.6.2 can be found here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/ADTN_Product_Downloads/vWLAN/3.4.0/vWLAN-2-6-2.img
