vWLAN and BSAP Version 3.0.1 were released and posted for the vWLAN Appliance, Virtual Appliance (VMware), BSAP 1800s, BSAP 1900s, BSAP 2000s and BSAP 3000 series. Please review the vWLAN Version 3.0.1 Release Notes for specific details.
For information on upgrading your controller and APs, please see Upgrading BlueSocket vWLAN Controllers and Access Points. Note that upgrades from version 2.3 and below are no longer supported.
Important Note: vWLAN must be running version 2.6.2 or higher before it can be upgraded to 3.0.1. Any vWLAN running a version below 2.6.2 must first upgrade to version 2.6.2, and then upgrade to version 3.0.1. This does not apply to BSAPs. AP firmware does not have to be upgraded to 2.6.2, and can instead be upgraded directly to 3.0.1 with the final upgrade.
If you attempt to upgrade from a version prior to 2.6.2, the upgrade will error out and the following message will appear in the upgrade alerts and platform alerts:
*** MUST BE RUNNING 2.6.2 OR HIGHER TO UPGRADE TO THIS IMAGE! *** (Please upgrade to 2.6.2 prior to loading this image.)

What is the upgrade path from 220.127.116.11 to the latest build? I tried to go from 18.104.22.168 to version to 22.214.171.124-232101 and it bricked my vwlan appliance. Any suggestions? I see the 126.96.36.199 patch but when I try to patch it says it's only available for 188.8.131.52.
If you have a valid support contract, then you should open a ticket with our support team. If you have a hardware appliance, then depending on your model of appliance, it may not be possible to upgrade due to resources. If you have VMware, then in some cases it is simply better to deploy a new OVA and migrate your configuration. However, you cannot take a backup from 2.2 and restore to 3.0.1, so you would have to rebuild. Again, if you have a valid support contract, then you can open a ticket and discuss options with our support team.
I called support and they suggested I post here as we had a support contract that had lapsed. She (Jessica) mentioned the support forums were free and I would more than likely find an answer here for my question.
Also, it's an appliance and it looks like I can only go to version 2.3 from what I've been able to find. I'm just wondering how I would go about getting the archived firmware for the VWLAN Appliance and Access Points since this unit looks to be end of life.
