How does Conference Calling work with the ADTRAN Express XRT/3000?

Q: How does Conference Calling work with the ADTRAN Express XRT/3000?

A:

Conference Calling permits a conversation between three or more parties, each at different telephone numbers. During a voice call, the call waiting tone signals a second incoming call. Flash-hook to place the first call on hold and answer the incoming call. Flash-hook again to retrieve the first caller. A third flash-hook conferences all three parties. To enable Conference Calling, dial **2 before dialing the telephone number. This enables the flash hook button on your telephone to conference up to six people together. This dial code is not necessary when S37=1, which makes the flash hook button conference calls by default.

Note: S37 is not supported with code revisions less than K.00
