Help setting up netvanta 1234 to default config

need help;

Have used netvanta 1234 with unknown  ip address.

I have bypassed password.

I have been unable to connect to ftp site to download default config file.

Is there a link that I can get this file or instructions to set up ftp protocal.

Or is there a way to see what the address of the unit is and access by GUI.

Re: Help setting up netvanta 1234 to default config

- Bypassing the password using a console connection is the only way you will be able to view the current configuration of the NetVanta. Unfortunately, this will also be the only way you will be able to factory default the configuration without knowing the management IP address.

What issues did you run into with bypassing the password? The following guide explains how to bypass the passwords in AOS: Password Recovery in AOS

If you would like to download the factory default configuration for the NetVanta 1234, you can do so here: NetVanta 123x Default Configuration

Instructions on how to factory default a configuration can be found here: Restoring an AOS Device to Factory Default

However, keep in mind, that without the management IP or login credentials to get into the NetVanta 1234, you will need to use a console connection to bypass the passwords and then use xmodem to upload the configuration.

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

Noor
