How would i go about configuring a 3120 to allow a public IP to pass through the 3120 (for QOS) to customers existing router?
Here is the scenario: Customer has cable modem with a small public IP block and an existing firewall managed by their IT company or department. I would like to "drop in" a 3120 for my hosted phones and assign it a public IP from the customers block. I don't want to alter the traffic on the existing router just apply QOS. The IP phones will be on a separate network off the 3120.
What are the basic steps to this configuration?
