How to allow access to the web management from the public interface?

Jump to solution

I would like to access the NetVanta 3120 from the internet. How do I go about setting this up?

Do I just need to add a ACL and port forward to the NetVanta?

Correct.

I recommend using 443 (https) for security reasons.

Here is a link describing how to block access but it should answer on how to allow:

It seems that the web interface is disabled by default on the WAN interface since I can't access it.

From the link you posted it seems that I need to allow port 80 or 443 through to the firewall and then I should be able to access it from the internet.

Is that correct?
