Blind tranfers results in dead air after a call has been put on hold or answered and then transfered.

Having trouble completing a blind transfer after a call is put on hold and then transferred, or the call is answered and then transferred a second time. The system acts differently forcing the user to push "Send" to complete the transfer. Blind transfers without using "Send" result in dead air. Has anyone else run in to this issue? An external call immediately answered and then blind transferred by pushing Transfer, Ext and then hanging up does not have this problem. It only occurs on calls that have already been handled in some way by the system.

This sounds like a dialplan issue. Is the destination pattern of the transfer unambiguously defined in the dial plan on the unit and the phone? In other words, if I place a call to that number does it cut through immediately after the last digit or do I have to push SEND or wait for a timeout?
