(We are running R11.5.0.E)
We have department ring groups and use the voicemail for that ring group. Everyone in the department has that Mailbox in their status group and it appears on their phones (mix of AdTran 712 and Polycom 650). At some point, the icon for the mailbox stopped updating at all (both brands) and I cannot get it to show that a message is waiting.
Is anyone running R11.5.0.E, with this scenario, and having success?
I am trying to find out if I have a config problem or if there was a bug introduced in firmware.
Chris, as far as I am aware, this is not a known issue in firmware. If you're not looking for a feature specifically introduced in R11.5, can you try the latest extended maintenance release 11.4.3, which should be posted to the website later today? It contains all the latest bug fixes. If you need to be on R11.5, please reply with the configuration of your unit (with any sensitive information removed), as well as a "debug sip stack message" and "debug voice mail" running while a voicemail is left in the group box. Thanks
I'm having the same issue with a system that was upgraded to R11.5.0.E to resolve another issue. Had a support ticket open for months however the warranty on the system ran out during that period and Adtran terminated the support ticket without resolving the issue. Tried upgrading the firmware on the phones however this didn't work. Debugs show proper MWI notifications being sent to the phones for the Ring Group VMBs. Will be following to see if you're able to find a resolution.
Chris, the debug only goes a few seconds after the end of the voicemail message, so I can't say with certainty that the 7100 didn't send a NOTIFY, but it wasn't captured in what you sent. The one thing I do notice is a ton of SUBSCRIBE messages from a number of phones that look like they're trying to monitor each other. Do you have static BLFs configured on any of the phones? Thanks
Chris, can you post the extension-mac.cfg file from the Polycom folder in FTP of any of the following extensions:
2282
2241
2214
2032
2244
2271
2330
2261
2317
Here is the .cfg file (link)
I don't think we have any static BLF's configured on these phones.
Chris, the config file appears correct, but on doing further research, it appears that the phones are trying to subscribe to their own line keys as though they're BLFs, Please delete the mac-phone.cfg (and only those) files and try factory defaulting the phones to see if they resume normal behavior. If that doesn't work, I would recommend opening a ticket with Tech Support for more advanced troubleshooting. Thanks
mctek
I also had to upgrade to R11.X to solve various issues and have the same issue as you. Did you find a resolution ?
