Polycom MSG Key with Uc Server

Jump to solution

Hi,

We have some problem with polycom 335 and Uc server. After upgrading to the UC serveur (BCS) the MSG Key on the phone when you have new message does not appears. But, the message lights indicator works well. If I want the KEY on the phone, what I need to do?

Thank You

Alex

Alex,

It appears you opened a support ticket for this issue and the resolution was correcting the IP address that was configured for the NetVanta 7100 under Communications Systems in the UC client to match the IP interface on the NetVanta 7100 configured for the media-gateway.  I went ahead and marked this post with a Correct Answer.

Thanks,

Matt

Alex,

Does this happen with all phones or just one? Try factory defaulting the phone by holding down 1, 3, 5, and 7 upon power up.  When prompted for a password enter 456.  What version of UC was running before the upgrade and currently?  Also, what firmware version is loaded on the phone?

Thanks,

Matt
