RX_SA_CHANGES in T3SU 300 bridge module stats

On a T3SU with a 4 port bridging ethernet module when viewing statistics what does RX_SA_CHANGES indicate?

Thank you for using the ADTRAN Support Forums.

The RX_SA_CHANGES is the number of times the SA (source address) of good receive packets has changed from the previous value. A count greater than 1 generally indicates the port is connected to a repeater based network.
