Hello,
I have a network where I want to split out 14 56k DDS circuits that are coming over a T1. The network drawing is attached. I need one standalone TDU 600 unit with 3 quad OCU modules and 1 dual OCU module giving a total of 14 DDS ports for connection to your the DSUs.
I know this is EOL. I'm OK with refurbished gear in this case. Can someone give me a configuration with part numbers of the chassis and modules?
Thanks!
David
You will need a TSU 600 product as well as the OCU DP modules.
The TSU 600 has the following models:
TSU 600 (AC power): PN 1202076L2 (2nd Generation) or 1200076L2 (1st Generation)
TSU 600 DC power: 1202076L2#DC (2nd Gen) or 1200076L2#DC (1st Gen)
There is also an "e-series" TSU 600 which has an ethernet port for management purposes (allows telnet access)
TSU 600e (AC): 1202076L1
TSU 600e DC power: 1202076L1#DC
The OCU DP modules are dual-port and come as plug-in or plug-on, so when you put a plug-on module onto a plug-in module you have 4 ports.
So you will need 4 plug-in modules and 3 plug-on modules.
OCU DP Plug-in: 1200230L1
OCU DP Plug-on: 1200231L1
Hope this helps,
Patrick
Thanks for responding!
So:
qty. 1 - TSU 600 (AC power): PN 1202076L2 (2nd Generation) or 1200076L2 (1st Generation)
qty. 4 - OCU DP Plug-in: 1200230L1
qty. 3 - OCU DP Plug-on: 1200231L1
Is there no quad card? I had sometime quote it like this:
"You would need one standalone unit with 3 quad OCU modules and 1 dual OCU module giving you a total of 14 DDS ports for connection to your remote DSUs."
Thanks again.
David
No, there is no Quad OCU DP card for the TSU series.
