BITS Clock on TA-850: Output echos input?

Good day,

I'm getting ready to set up an external timing source for a group of four TA850 channel banks, all in the same rack. I've got a GPS-referenced clock lined up, but I've never done BITS hookup before.

From looking at the manual, P1 on the TA850's backplane has both a BITS clock input and an output. Can I attach the GPS reference to a single unit's BITS input, and use the output to daisy-chain to the other three units? As in chaining output on one to input on another, etc.?

If I do this, do I need any kind of line termination on the BITS output of the last unit in the chain?
