This site is a great resources and I wouldn't have gotten this far without it. I would love someone looking over my shoulder since I'm new to this...
Migrating to a new PBX but the old PBX must stay in place for the time being and we need calling between them. New PBX is configured with a SIP trunk to the 908e (already tested and working). Old PBX will be connected to 908e via (3) PRI configured as follows: the majority of calling will be from old PBX to new and we need to dedicate two PRIs for this. Calls will be placed to extensions on the new PBX in the range [1-4]XX. A smaller number of calls from new PBX to old need to use a third PRI, extensions dialed for this purpose will be 898 and 899. We must maintain inbound/outbound on separate circuits due to legacy reasons on the old PBX. No PSTN calls will be placed/received across these PRIs, the use case is only for internal tie lines.
I would love some feedback on the attached config. I'm specifically interested in:
- the best way to group the two PRIs, I think there are multiple approaches (ie each of the "grouped" PRIs in their own isdn-group/trunk and then group via grouped_trunk versus what I show in the config?) and I'm not sure I understand the pros/cons of each
- If I've understood correctly how the "accept" statements work and they are applied in a way that will accomplish what I described above?
Thanks!
