Question:  Is flash hook supported by the FXO ports of ADTRAN IP Business Gateways (IPBGs)?

Answer:  Flash hook “is not” supported by IPBG FXO ports; however the feature is fully operational on FXS ports.  

ADTRAN IP Business Gateways with FXO:

  • TA9XXE (2nd and 3rd Generation)
  • NetVanta 6240s with Lifeline FXO
  • NetVanta 6240 16 FXS, 10 FXO
  • NetVanta 6250s with Lifeline FXO
  • NetVanta 6250s with 16 FXS + 9 FXO (1 Lifeline)
  • NetVanta 6310s with FXO VIM2 modules
  • NetVanta 6330s with FXO VIM2 modules
  • NetVanta 6330s with 16 FXS + 8 FXO
  • NetVanta 6360s with FXO VIM2 modules
