What configuration Required for Adtran 908e to support T38 Fax.

Hi Team,

i have a setup below:

Mitel PBX<----->SIP Trunk<----->(LAN)Adtran908e(WAN)<----->SIP Trunk<---->Third Party SIP Service Provider.

i am sending Fax over T38 from our PBX to Third party through Adtran as shown above. But it is not working. Fax over G711 is working fine.

So can you please let me know for Sending FAX Do i need to do some extra Configuration on Adtran? Many Thanks.

If not working then prob the provider doesn’t support it.

DO the following debugs, then do a t38 fax and post as results as text file attachment. Make sure your ssh/telnet client has large buffer to catch all the debug so that it is not cut off.

Debug sip stack mes

Debug voice verbose

Debug sip cldu
