Read-only SSH CLI Access?
I have been told in the past that adtran does not provide customers with root access or any CLI access to their devices. For basic connectivity testing between n-command and a device or NTP, I need to be able to ping.
Is their a read-only SSH CLI user available or will it be available in the future?
Is their any way to ping from the web GUI?

Re: Read-only SSH CLI Access?
George,
This is currently an openly considered feature request but it has not been committed nor released yet.
Thanks,
Evan

Re: Read-only SSH CLI Access?
Hi Evan,
Having CLI access would limit calls to tech support. For example, N-Command isnt contacting my device for discovery... I can't ping from N-Command to the device. I'd basically have to open an adtran ticket, wait for support to call me so I can ask them to ping for me........
