VRRP & OSPF support with 1560 & 1760 series network switches

Jump to solution

HI - we are going to be deploying a new network and want to make the network fully redundant.  I was wondering if the 1560 series switches support OSPF routing.  Also the core switches are going to be 1760 series switches.

The 1560 (and 1760 when released) support OSPF, they do not support VRRP.There is several mechanisms you can deploy on these switchs to create a redundandnt switching topology, such as STP, MSTP,  ERPS, etc.

Detailed features can be found on this support community on our Feature Matrices.
