Eamon,
Thanks for posting! The Caller ID will only be blocked if we receive, within the SIP Invite, an RFC3323 From header similar to what is shown below.
From: "Anonymous" <sip:anonymous@anonymous.invalid>;tag=1928301774
This would result in "Presentation Restricted" on the ISDN side of the call. You may want to first see if the device sending the SIP Invite to the ADTRAN unit can send this From header format. If not, you could consider writing a header manipulation rule (HMR) within the ADTRAN unit's configuration. Instructions for this feature are included in Manipulating SIP Headers and Messages in AOS. ADTRAN Technical Support does offer a paid service to assist with HMR configuration, in case you decide to go that route.
Thanks!
David

Hi David
Thanks for coming back to me, The inbound sip call is from another 6310 . The setup is site "A", has a 6310 connected to ISDN pra, sip trunk to lync server, sip trunk to adtran site B. Site "B" ISDN pra and sip trunk to site "A", call flow is A->B,I had tried the HRM but could not get it working.
Thanks.
Eamon
Eamon,
Generally speaking, the unit itself should not be making the decision, or configured for, blocking caller ID. For any given ADTRAN IP Business Gateway, there is an originating trunk or port where we need to get an indication that the call is anonymous, presentation restricted, etc.
Thanks!
David
