Feedback ADTRAN, Inc. is providing this online community as a service to you, our customers and partners, for the exchange of ideas, information, and tips about ADTRAN technologies. As with any community, live or virtual, members must follow certain rules and norms to ensure a beneficial and positive experience. We provide these guidelines here so that you know what is required and expected of you, and other members, when using the forum.
Keep it clean, keep it professional. Every post should make a positive contribution and should be suitable for all users. We will however at our sole discretion remove any post or reply that includes derogatory, abusive, offensive, obscene, violent or inappropriate content of any kind as so deemed by us. Always interact with other users respectfully, as you would in any professional setting.
Be honest, be yourself. The ADTRAN Support Community is intended to be used for the helpful exchange of information between members. False, inaccurate, or otherwise misleading information is not helpful. Please be sincere in your community or group participation by only contributing valid, useful content.
Respect the privacy of others. It's up to you, and only you, to decide whether to share personal information about yourself or your business. Please do not post or send a reply that includes another user's postal or email addresses, usernames, passwords, phone numbers, or any other contact information.
Practice Good Decision-Making. Most people are happy to help with suggestions or solutions in the ADTRAN Support Community, but remember, their advice is theirs only. You are responsible for deciding whether to follow it. It is possible that the information you find here could be incorrect, incomplete, unclear or misleading. Keep in mind that other community members have varying levels of experience and that each environment is unique. These factors affect their decisions and advice.

If you elect to use such interactive services, you are solely responsible for all materials, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, that you upload, post, e-mail, transmit, or otherwise make available in the community ("User Content").

Many ADTRAN products are dual-use items and are subject to export restrictions under U.S. law. The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), which is a branch of the U.S. Department of Commerce, regulates exports through the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The EAR regulations detail the export compliance requirements for a variety of items (e.g. commodities, software, and technologies). Depending on the commodity classification of a product, the destination country, and the parties involved, an export license might be required from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). There may be other international, federal, state and local laws, ordinances, regulations, and orders that are applicable to the export of an item. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited.
