Many ADTRAN products are dual-use items and are subject to export restrictions under U.S. law. The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), which is a branch of the U.S. Department of Commerce, regulates exports through the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The EAR regulations detail the export compliance requirements for a variety of items (e.g. commodities, software, and technologies). Depending on the commodity classification of a product, the destination country, and the parties involved, an export license might be required from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). There may be other international, federal, state and local laws, ordinances, regulations, and orders that are applicable to the export of an item. Diversion contrary to U.S. law is prohibited. For further information, you can access ADTRAN's Export Policy here.
