configuration need

I'm going to buy Netvanta 3148

and I'm going to connect this switch port to GIG eth port to set WAN side (red line)

because WAN side is only one port so I need switch to use WAN side's IP 

I think there is more good configuration better than this plan

I'm sure I don't need the red line.... but I can not find the way

please recommend about this plan
