Dual PRI

Jump to solution

Hi,

I need help setting up a dual PRI with two D channels. Inbound calls will start from the first PRI ascending and outbound call on the second one descending. In the back, I will have a cisco router with two T1 ports. Please advise.

Re: Dual PRI

The ATLAS will accept inbound calls on either PRI. On the outbound PRI, make sure the OUT#ACCEPT is set to "$" (which is our wild-card to allow anything) with a Search of "Primary." The inbound PRI should either have an OUT#ACCEPT of "--" (in order to prevent any outbound calls on this PRI) or "$" with a Search of "Secondary." The search of "Secondary" indicates it should only be used once the "Primary" is either busy or out of service.

Hope this helps,

Patrick
