Remove a network from the Atlas 550

I have a PRI connection to a Cisco device on my Atlas 550 that is no longer needed. I don't want to remove the card since the other port is in use but would prefer to disable this port, otherwise I have an ALARM all the time. How do I disable this port?

Re: Remove a network from the Atlas 550

You can "disable" the port by removing its configuration from either the DIAL PLAN or the DEDICATED MAPS (whichever location you have it configured). Once it is removed from the DED MAP or DIAL PLAN, the front panel alarm should clear. You will still see the alarm if you go under MODULES and look at the ALARM STATUS for the module, where you can see all the ports, but the module status shouldn't show an alarm.

Hope that makes sense,
Patrick
