Firmware mismatch on AP

Jump to solution

Hi,

I have a BSC-600, Ive upgraded the controllers firmware to V6.5.1.03.  Now my access point (BSAP-1500) will not work. Error says firmware mismatch

The BSAP-1500, is at 6.00, the w-eap6628a_1500-6.5.0-7.bidp firmware wont upload something about only 20mb space free

Any ideas on how to resolve?

Hi pilly170,

To free up space you could delete any existing AP firmware that is not needed (i.e., any BSAP models you don't need to support and/or alternative firmware images), delete any packet captures (Status > Diagnostics > Traffic Capture), and purge all logs (Status > Logs).

If you still cannot upload the firmware after this, you will likely need you to open a regular Technical Support ticket by calling 888-423-8726 or sending an email to support@adtran.com so that we can troubleshoot directly on the unit. When you create a ticket, please note that this is in reference to an ADTRAN Support Community post.

Thanks,

Erik
