How can I factory reset an Adtran Netvanta 1234 without using CLI? Also, I am not able to get to the technical document as it states I don't have permission to do so.

Re: Factory Reset without using CLI?
Hi stevenm:
You may obtain a default configuration file here: NetVanta 123x (1st Generation) Default Configuration
Extract the file and browse to the Configuration page in the web GUI. Upload the CFG file and reboot.
Best,
Chris

COMMUNITY ADMINISTRATORS:
It appears that the page Restoring an AOS Device to Factory Default appears to be restricted from view, as stevenm noticed.

Re: Factory Reset without using CLI?
I think there's a broken link on the 123x default config page. Please check out Restoring an AOS Device to Factory Default for assistance.

Re: Factory Reset without using CLI?
Thanks for the quick response. Sorry, that I wasn't clear. My problem is that I don't know what the IP address of the switch currently is set to. So is there any other way to reset it when you don't know the address?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Factory Reset without using CLI?
Perhaps the IP was never changed from default: 10.10.10.1. You could change your PC's IP address to 10.10.10.2 and try to manage the switch that way. Otherwise, connecting with a console cable is by far the simplest option. It is CLI, but the commands aren't difficult for determining the IP:
- Logon if necessary with username and password
- Type show interface vlan and press Enter
Will that work for you?
