Perl Script for Telnetting into Adtrans

Jump to solution

Anybody have a good example perl script (or any language script) for telnetting into Adtran Netvanta and pulling the configs? I have a really clunky .vbs script I wrote that uses SendKeys, but I would like something a little less 'silly' and quicker. Let me know!

Actually Netvanta's have a pretty useful email feature built in that does everything I was looking to accomplish. Thanks to Noor for this insight!

Matthew:

Thank you for asking this question in the support community.  Maybe someone will reply with a sample script, but I do not have an example of a script for telnetting to AOS units to obtain the configurations.  It is my experience that a lot of people use n-Command MSP for this functionality.
