I have someone that just moved into a new office where there was a previous owner resided. The office already has a Netgear switch and router instelled and wired throughout the office. The new owner just got this POE switch for his new VoIP POE phones to use in this location. Does the new POE switch need to be configured or can it be plugged into the exiting network and powered on and start working for the phones?
Thanks

Assuming the Netgear doesn't have different VLANs configured, which I doubt in this situation, you should be plug and go.
