I have a Netvanta 1335 POE switch that I want to configure and make as an overflow switch between our voice/data vlans. I cannot get the switch to work with both vlans just one or the other even if puting the ports in trunk mode. I found that the last firmware update that was done on this switch was back on 5/9/07 firmware 15.01.00E so its behind at least 50 firmware updates. What would be the best way to catch this up without the worry of bricking the switch. Download every fifth update or download every update etc....

Simply Download the latest Firmware. using the 1335 as a Layer 2/3 switch can easily be accomplished.
