Netvana 3120 Password Reset

How can I reset the admin password for a Netvana 3120 since the router does not have a console port.

Using the pinhole reset button on the back of the unit will allow you to default the configuration, remove firewall rules, or enter bootstrap mode for a simple password reset. Instructions are here: NetVanta 3120 and 3130 Reset Button and Bootstrap Operations

The bootstrap is not working. When I press the reset button the adtran stay a solid amber light and putty say "Connection timed out abort".

The reason why I do not want to factory is because I want the running config on the machine if possible.
