Multi-VRF and RIP

Jump to solution

I am tasked with configuring a couple of NetVanta 3448 routers to use multi-vrf(s).  I have one for their secure network and another for a legacy VoIP system.

The vrf forwarding and route tables are fine and it works great.  I was wondering if there is a way to enable RIP with vrf so that route can be updated dynamically?

Unfortunately, at the time of this post, routing protocols, such as RIP, are only supported on the default unnamed VRF. If you haven't already seen this, you may find the following guide helpful:

Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions.

I have seen it, but not read it thoroughly. I’m sure it will also tell me that the admin GUI only works on the default vrf as well. J
