Switching T1 NIM cards

If I switch a single T1 NIM on a 3448 to a dual T1 NIM, will the programming still be applied to the first T1 interface and continue working properly

Yes.  The existing configuration will apply to the first the interface (left most port) on the dual T1 NIM.
