7100 Questions - Deploying multiple cordless phones, outside APs - HELP! =)

Hey y'all!

Currently working up a system for a client. He would like 6 cordless phones (thinking Spectralink 8440) and he needs a couple outside APs so those phones will work throughout his business property. (around 5-600').

How many cordless phones can I program/run simultaneously on the 7100?

What APs (inside 2, outside 2) would you recommend? (outside mainly for voice traffic)

They are also using vvx410s, which we will be reconfiguring for the Netvanta.

Jason, since the phones would operate just as SIP endpoints, there isn't technically a limit on just the number of cordless phones you could have. Depending on how many APs you had and total capacity, you would only be limited by the 100 user limit on the system for phones.

I would suggest contacting our Presales group regarding AP recommendations. They are in a better position to quote specific AP models for your situation.
