We installed a 7100 system and Polycom VVX400 phones. When the users are on the phone and another call rings into their office they get a beep in their ear.
They do not have Call Waiting with their carrier. They have Call Return, Call Blocking and 3-way calling. How can we get rid of this? What do we need to do to disable this feature?
The config string did not disable the call waiting beep. I did see on another config string documentation for having the subsequent incoming call ring instead of beep.
Here is the string:
<callWaiting call.Waiting.ring ="ring"/>
Really need to get this issue fixed for the customer.

Teresa, I tested that on a VVX410 in house running the same firmware and it worked. Can you try factory defaulting the phone to make sure it's pulling the correct config? Thanks
