External CallerID over Simple Remote Phones

Is there an issue with External CallerID going out from Simple Remote Phones?  We have a number of these and the "main" number thats programmed on the PRI is being sent with the call, its not overriding and sending the "external CallerID" number.

Will the "caller-id-override" command work with Simple Remote phones??
