I am a missionary living and working abroad and I am looking for a VOIP solution for a campus that has 40 or so phones. Using the NetVanta 7100 with two GrandStream GXW-4024s would be an awesome and slick solution for me and I would guess for many others. Has anyone tried it and if so, with what succ

I found the tech document on how to set this up.
https://supportforums.adtran.com/docs/DOC-2924
It's written for the NetVanta 6355 but should work for the Adtran 924 as well.

Re: Has anyone tried a GrandStream GXW-4024 with a NetVanta 7100?
It should work but it wont be supported should you come across any problems. (You can post those here and hopefully someone can help)
You may want to take a look at the Total Access 924 (4212924L1) and ask Adtran if they will support it with the 7100.
As a side a side note I have successfully registered a GXW-4024 to a Total Access 904 and it worked fine.

Re: Has anyone tried a GrandStream GXW-4024 with a NetVanta 7100?
So, if I understand this correctly, it looks like I could just use the Total Access 924 as a mini PBX at my remote location and plug my single line phones into it and connect it to my corporate office which will have a 7100 via the internet or even an intranet. Unified, is that what you think?

Re: Has anyone tried a GrandStream GXW-4024 with a NetVanta 7100?
In the following brochure on page 19 it says it is supported.
https://www.adtran.com/pub/Library/Product_Brochures/Default/Converged_Access_Product_Brochure.pdf
Based upon the diagram it looks to be exactly what you are looking for.
Just remember if you run it over the internet there is no QoS so call quality can not be guaranteed.
