Netvanta 7100 - Caller id name

Do we support caller id name on ISDN - PRI?  If so, can someone show me how to enable it?  Customer have PRI and polycom phones and a Netvanta 7100 VSMB.  Thanks much

I did run a debug isdn l2-formatted - I can see the telco is sending us the name.  I'm just not seeing it on the Polycom phone.

I'm looking at the document - trroubleshooting ISDN pri.

Is this all I have to do?  I'm kind of afraid of doing this right now, as I don't want to completely take them down.

Thanks You Adtran Support.  The problem was on The Telco.  They just call me and told me they got it resolved.  Man I wasted half a day on this.

The caller ID name normally appears in an IE (Information Element) FACILITY message, and the caller ID number is sent in the IE CALLING PARTY # message - both in the ISDN SETUP message.  It should look something like this in the debug.  I highlighted the caller ID name in orange and the caller ID number in blue:

If those are not showing up then you will need to ask the provider to check the provisioning of the PRI.  If you want to paste in a snippet of your debug isdn l2-formatted with the names and numbers replaced or X'd out I would be more than happy to review it.

Hi Matt, Here is the log I had.  I think I got this resolve already.  I call into tech support.  Here was the result -

The problem here is that the provider is sending caller-ID in the FACILITY message, but they are not designating that fact in the SETUP message. Protocol dictates that they must inform us in the SETUP message that the Calling Name will follow in a FACILITY message.

I had to call the Telco and awaiting for them to respond back to me.  I highlighted blue where the name shows on on TELCO.
