Send to VM Soft Button does not send to voicemail when record caller's name is on

Steps to reproduce

* Enable record caller's name

* Call into that extension

* Say name

* On that extension's phone, answer the call

* Do not hit 1 to accept the call

* Hit the Send to VM soft button

* Enter your extension (this shouldn't be necessary. I want this to automatically send to MY own voicemail)

* Hit the enter soft button

At this point, the call turns red on the VX400's screen.

What I would expect is for the call to be sent to my voicemail. So there are two problems. One is that I have to enter the voicemail box to send it to, and the other is that it doesn't actually work at this point.

This is not a currently supported feature. It sounds like you are describing a use case similar to this feature request:

If your use case matches that one, make sure to vote it up.  If not, feel free to make a new Feature Request that more accurately matches this scenario where the Send to VM softkey is involved.

Considering that is my actual feature request, I certainly know that this issue has nothing to do with that. Unfortunately what I am finding is that a lot of the features with FMFM were either not tested, or no one bothered to really think it through. I guess I'll go ahead and create another feature request.

I also wanted to clarify the intended functionality for the Send to VM softkey.  It was built for the use case of talking to party A and wanting to send that caller to the voicemail of party B without ringing their phone.  This assumes party B is a user on the system too.  It is not used for redirecting to your own voicemail for incoming calls.

Then I guess the real problem is that FMFM wasn't thought through like I thought because any FMFM that I have seen with call screening always gave you the option to accept or send to voicemail. Adtran only has accept a call, and if you hit end call, the other feature request comes into play because it continues on FMFM.
