Voice to Email Configuration Issue

Jump to solution

All,

I'm having trouble configuring VMail to Email in that I can't tell what or why exactly why this customer's email provider is rejecting the message. Maybe someone can look at the debug system output I have here and give me a hint?

SMTP Response: 220 blnmtdc2svavs.cluster2.bresnan.net ESMTP

To SMTP server: EHLO [72.174.99.254]

To SMTP server: 22 bytes of data

SMTP Response: 250-blnmtdc2svavs says EHLO to 72.174.99.254:1030

SMTP Response: 250-AUTH=LOGIN

SMTP Response: 250-AUTH LOGIN

SMTP Response: 250-STARTTLS

SMTP Response: 250-8BITMIME

SMTP Response: 250-XDUMPCONTEXT

SMTP Response: 250-PIPELINING

SMTP Response: 250 ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES

To SMTP server: STARTTLS

To SMTP server: 10 bytes of data

SMTP Response: 220 continue

To SMTP server: AUTH PLAIN

To SMTP server: 12 bytes of data

Invalid server message: 500 5.5.2 unrecognized command

Any ideas?

This issue should be resolved with AOS R10.9.2.  Can you upgrade to it and post back the result?

Thanks,

Matt

From the debug this appears to be a current issue we are working on resolving.  As a workaround, you can try downgrading to R10.7.1.

Thanks,

Matt

My apologies for not getting back to you on this Matt. I was able to get around this problem initially by downgrading to the latest 10.7.x AOS revision. I'll set up a maintenance window with the customer and report back.
