Has anyone had an issue with garbled voicemail? It started happening a while back and is getting worse.

Jump to solution

We were having issues with our SAN and iSCSI and thought the gargled voicemail issue would go away once we had the SAN/iSCSI issues corrected but no such luck. We recently replaced our gateway and still no change.

Anyone have any ideas? It seems to be mostly voicemail left by outside callers.

Thanks;

Mark

Mark, do you have multiple NICs in your UC environment? Packets arriving out of order can cause garbled voicemail. Thanks

Yup, that was the issue. We use teamed NICs on our VM hosts. Since failover kills the licensing anyways we just pulled one NIC out of the team and dedicated it to the UC server.

Thanks for the reply Jay.
