Hello,
Having an issue with one user and the eFax option. User opens word and tries to print a document, selects the Adtran Netvanta UC Fax printer and nothing happens. Tries the same thing in notepad, nothing happens. If we open the adtran UC Client and open the Faxes tab and then quick print the window opens and you can type a name and fax number, select a cover sheet and then send it. It is received. Anyone have any ideas on this one?
We have uninstalled the client and companion rebooted and then reinstalled (no Bueno)

Adam, is the user on this PC a local administrator? And if so, was the software actually installed while logged on as the user or was it installed by another admin account? I've seen issues before where a user who did not actually install the software under their account could not get it to work properly. Thanks

Adam, what version of UC Client and what version of Windows does this particular user have? Any differences from the users that work? Thanks

Hello Jay,
All users are on Windows 7 Pro 64bit and the UC Client is Version 6.0.1.8262 (we install everyone from a network share to make sure we use the same version).

We do not give our users admin privileges, so this was installed under a local admin account. Your explanation states that I will remove the UC client and give the user Admin rights to install the client under their login. I will give this a shot and report back.

Sorry for the delay, (End users schedules)
I uninstalled and added the user in question as a local admin. Rebooted and had user login. Installed the software under their profile and bam issue resolved. I removed the user from admin rebooted and we are still good to go.
