Is there a way to set the fax to email as a .pdf rather than a .tif?

Josh,

The native format is .tif and that cannot be changed to .pdf from within UC.  However, there are a couple of options.

  • If you have the integrated messaging client enabled (Messaging tab of selected user) than you should be able to see a preview of the fax in your inbox under Mailboxes from within the UC client.  The preview pane has toolbar with a save as PDF button:

  • If you are using the UC client Outlook plugin it too should have a preview pane and toolbar with the save as PDF button.

  • The last option is to install a print to PDF solution (like PDFcreator) and print the e-mail from your e-mail client to the PDF printer.

Thanks,

Matt
