How to link my overseas router to my UK router Adtran 854-v6

I have full fibre in the UK and full fibre in France.  I am frustrated with the buffering of paid for VPN when accessing UK based platforms in France and have been told we can create our own point to point VPN where all of my internet traffic in France will go through my UK router and the computers / TVs will connect directly to my Adtran 854-v6 and the data will be secure.   My Adtran 854-v6 is in the UK and the router in France is as provided by the ISP.  I can purchase if necessary further hardware but can not find out how to do it.  I am a MAC book Air user and there isn't a ethernet LAN port on the laptop so can not even get access to the router settings.  HELP!
